The Biodegradable Steel Plate with Loop.combines the mechanical superiority of metallic fixation with the biological advantages of resorbable technology. Traditionally, cortical buttons remain in the body forever; however, this biodegradable steel alloy is engineered to provide massive initial fixation strength before gradually dissolving once the biological healing of the graft-to-bone interface is complete.

High-Strength Biodegradable Steel: Utilizes a specialized medical-grade steel alloy that offers significantly higher tensile strength and stiffness than traditional polymer-based absorbable materials.
Integrated Continuous Loop: The system features a high-tenacity, ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) loop that provides a secure "cradle" for the ligament graft, minimizing graft abrasion and shielding.
Cortical Button Architecture: The low-profile steel plate (button) distributes loads evenly across the cortical surface, preventing bone tunneling or "windshield wiper" effects during early rehabilitation.
Programmed Absorption: The steel alloy is designed to maintain its structural integrity during the critical 6–9 month healing phase before slowly being resorbed by the body’s natural metabolic processes.
Artifact-Free Imaging: As the metal degrades, it eliminates long-term MRI and CT scan interference, allowing for precise clinical monitoring of the joint over time.
